At the heart of ABODEN Interior Studio is Melina Copp, a designer with almost a decade of experience, now proudly based in Traverse City, Michigan. Melina's path into interior design started well before she set foot in a classroom. She was already working at a high-end, custom residential design firm in Orange County, California when she decided to formalize her knowledge and enrolled in design classes to learn the industry inside and out. Through her role in project management and procurement, she helped bring luxury homes to life from the ground up, guiding projects from initial concepts and onboarding through project management, procurement, and final installation.

After years spent managing projects and procurement for homes throughout Southern California, Melina brought her coastal sensibility and love of layered, livable spaces to Northern Michigan. With a deep appreciation for storytelling and an innate sense of style, she approaches each space as an opportunity to reflect the people who live there, blending function with feeling, charm with clarity. Her background in logistics means she's not just a creative; She's a doer, adept at managing timelines, teams, and all the details that make a project flow smoothly.
